As the photos of Tony Ahn and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri start to circulate in various media, the romantic relationship between the two celebrities was officially confirmed by their agencies. Tony Ahn is member of the first generation of idols H.O.T. while Hyeri is one of the ladies that made up Girl’s Day – a rookie group.

This is really a surprising news since no one would ever think that the two could be attracted to each other. What’s more, their age difference is quite big – 16 years!

According to sources, the celebrities have been meeting as sunbae – hoobae but the relationship has bloomed to  a romantic one. Based on the news, the two became an official couple in March.

Tony Ahn’s agency has this to say regarding the dating issue, “We think that Tony was attracted to Hyeri’s good manners and pleasant personality.”

On the other side, Hyeri’s agency commented, “We were very surprised at first too as there is such a big age gap . It appears that Hyeri was attracted to Tony Ahn’s considerate and outgoing personality.”
